Four men have been jailed for more than 45 years between them for conspiracy to supply class-A drugs. Daniel Henry, 24, Jewade Graham, 23, and Omari Sampson, 23, all from Wolverhampton and Nico Hemmings, 22, from Willenhall were sentenced at Worcester Crown Court.
Operation Dorado, a major anti-drugs initiative, was a covert operation which lasted six months, including an undercover officer who infiltrated the gang, tracking suspects vehicles, using covert recordings and telecoms analysis. The operation was launched following concerns of the local community.
The gang were effectively operating a call centre to sell drugs, and the four men described as the ‘managers’ used middlemen to deliver the drugs to help avoid detection. They had sold between £30,000 – £40,000 worth of crack cocaine in January alone in Worcester, Hereford and Malvern.
