No5 Chambers has been awarded the accolade of “UK Chambers of the Year” in the ACQ Global Awards, organised by ACQ – a premier global Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) magazine.  Sponsored by Merrill DataSite, the nominations and votes came from readers.

The Awards are divided into Company, Practice Area, Individual and Firm-Wide categories across both the private and public sectors.  Speaking from the set’s London office, Tony McDaid, Practice Director of No5 Chambers, says:  “We are very pleased to have been given this notable award, particularly as it has been voted for by readers who are at the coal-face of delivering service and expertise each and every day.  Receiving ‘Chambers of the Year’ is recognition of the commitment of not only our Queen’s Counsel and barristers but also the hard-working and helpful clerks and administration teams who make our legal business model appear seamless.”

No5 Chambers is home to over 230 barristers, including 26 Queen’s Counsel, who have contributed to its 100 year reputation for offering expertise in traditional sectors of law and being a progressive and forward-thinking set, delivering specialist advice and representation at the cutting edge of newly evolving areas regionally, nationally and internationally.
The ACQ Global Awards set out to recognise the achievements of those who are responding most successfully to the demands being placed on them by the new post-recession business environment.  The full list of winners will soon be announced at www.acqmagazine.com and promoted on www.FT.com.
