A CROOKED Coventry call centre worker used customers’ credit card details to go on a £33,000 spending spree, a court heard.
Lokesh Dahar kept records of personal details, including card numbers, security codes and expiry dates, while answering the phones at the TSYS centre, in Binley, Coventry, which dealt with Nationwide customers.
He used card details to pay for computers, electrical goods and to fund online gambling.
He was jailed for eight months for fraud.
Coventry Crown Court was told the offences happened in February and March last year when he worked at a call centre which handles enquiries for Nationwide.
