The highly controversial Health and Social Care Bill has proposed significant changes to the way the NHS will work. However the government has also agreed to make “substantial changes” to the Bill following the recent “listening exercise”. This seminar paper will look at the changes emerging to the Bill and explain the legal structures of the new NHS. Our expert speakers, who between them have extensive parliamentary experience and national leading knowledge of NHS law, have discussed how the parts of the NHS are supposed to fit together once the changes come into force, as well as considering the strengths and weaknesses of the new structures.
