Nageena Khalique, a clinical negligence and public law specialist at No5 Chambers, has won the coveted title of ‘Barrister of the Year’ at the annual Birmingham Law Society Legal Awards.
Miss Khalique was one of five nominated barristers vying for the title, which included No5 Chambers’ David Lock and Karl Hirst.
Barristers from No5 Chambers have now won this award for the past 2 years.
The winners were chosen by an independent panel of judges, chaired by former national Law Society president Kevin Martin. They were announced at a ceremony at the ICC, which more than 500 people attended.
