Ravinder was called to the Bar in 1996. She commenced her legal career specialising in Crime and Civil Law covering a broad spectrum of work. She gained considerable experience as a Crown Court Practitioner and her work included fraud cases at all levels. She was passionate in her defense of the vulnerable and of those who struggled to access justice. She was known as a fierce defender and a skilful cross-examiner. Some of Ravinder’s cases concerned individuals who faced deportation or extradition, and this sparked her interest in the field of Immigration, Asylum and Human Rights Law which has been her area of specialism since 2001.
Ravinder’s legal background has given her the advantage of experience which she has employed in her case preparation and she is well regarded by those who instruct her for identifying key legal issues in the case. She is instructed in appeals concerning all matters related to asylum and human rights claims and has a wealth of experience in court hearings.
