Lois is a member of the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence groups.

In PI and Clinical Negligence cases Lois has appeared on behalf of Claimants and Defendants in the County Court and High Court.

Lois accepts a variety of instructions which include, inter alia, the following:

  • Interlocutory hearings;
  • Trials;
  • CCMC’s;
  • Pleadings;
  • Drafting and reviewing schedules of loss;
  • Advices on quantum.

Lois has a particular interest in serious injury cases. Her pupillage supervisor was Gemma Roberts, a barrister with substantial experience. Furthermore, prior to pupillage Lois worked as Legal Assistant to Gerard McDermott QC. The majority of his caseload involves catastrophic personal injury, often with an element of cross border. Since joining chambers, Lois has been instructed in serious injury cases, including brain and spinal injuries.

She also has represented interested parties at inquests.

Lois founded Schedule School, a free resource designed to take junior practitioners through catastrophic injury schedules, one head of loss at a time.
