Rupert Beloff has authored the second edition of 'Sports Law', published by Hart Publishing, with The Hon Michael Beloff QC, Tim Kerr QC, and Marie Demetriou QC

Sports law is now an area of expertise in its own right for No5 Chambers. Sports law has been growing since the first edition of this book was published in 1999, regularly making headlines as well as leading to a developing body of law practised by specialist lawyers. The subject is split into various areas of practice which include regulatory rules, broadcasting and marketing resulting from commercial exploitation, this includes, sponsorship, sporting events, and players; and players rights and obligations, which cover a range of legal issues within employment, personal injury and criminal law. This edition pays special attention to the impact of EU and Human Rights law as well as the influence of the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
