Emma Edhem wins election to join the Court of Aldermen

Emma Edhem is one of the newest members of the City’s Court of Aldermen after winning an election by just a handful of votes.

Emma, who is also a councillor for Castle Baynard, saw victory in the Candlewick aldermanic elections, winning the posted vacated by Dame Fiona Woolfe.

It was a close election, with Emma beating her nearest competitor, James De Sausmarez, by just seven votes, gaining a total of 50.

Emma Edhem is Deputy Head of the International Law Group, and a member of the following groups at No5: Alternative Dispute Resolution, Commercial Litigation, Criminal Fraud and Proceeds of Crime, Intellectual Property, IT and Media, International Arbitration and Trade and Mediation.
