Christopher Young to be appointed Silk

Tue, 19 Dec 2017

Following the release of the results of the Queen’s Counsel appointments, we are delighted to announce that Christopher Young has been successful in his application for Silk.

Christopher acts for many of the UK’s leading developers and house builders, with an enviable track record at appeal. He acts on some of largest development proposals in the UK, including several new settlements such as both the Rudgate and Cattal proposals in Yorkshire, and Sibson Garden Village in Huntingdonshire. He also acts on major urban extensions such as the 5,000-dwelling development at Sherford in Plymouth. The majority of his appeal work involves cases recovered by the Secretary of State. He advises Tesco Stores on a national basis, as well as investment funds such as Rockspring, and major landowners such as Tarmac and the University of Reading.

His appointment will take place at a ceremony to be held on Monday 26th February 2018 in Westminster Hall.
