She is an advocate who is passionately interested in the detail of her case, prepares meticulously and is known for her incisive examination of witnesses. She believes that the basis for good prospects of success must be prepared long before the trial by presenting the client’s story in a compelling manner along the way. To that end she favours a hands-on approach seeking to shape the case and its eventual outcome through the necessary tactical, procedural and evidential decisions. She is regularly recognised as an experienced and effective trial advocate:-

“ … strong in court” (Legal 500 2016)

“continues to have a strong commercial practice” (Legal 500 2011)

“an experienced commercial litigator” (Legal 500 2010)

“a specialist in banking and finance disputes” (Legal 500 2009)

“performed very well in some tricky cases” (Legal 500 2008)

Advisory Work

She has a busy advisory practice in relation to, among others, disputes involving banking, finance and regulatory matters.  Her written work has been commended as being "of the highest quality" (Legal 500 2012), and she is rated as ‘very thorough with papers, and drafts excellent statements of case” (Legal 500 2015).
