Sally Hancox - Crime
Sally graduated from the University of Bath in 1994 and obtained a Diploma in Law before training for the Bar. Called in 1996, she received a Lincoln's Inn Award for the Diploma year and a Sir Thomas More award for her pupillage year. After practising in London for four years, Sally returned to the Midlands to specialise in criminal law.
Working equally for prosecution and defence, Sally is experienced in cases involving fraud, drug related offences and matters of serious sexual abuse. Whilst now based in the Midlands, she still retains instructions on both the South Eastern and Western Circuits.
Sally has particular interest, and experience, in the representation of defendants under the age of 18 in the Crown Court and cases involving issues of mental health, including representation at Mental Health Review Tribunals. She is also experienced in dealing with Courts Martial.
