We undertake a large number of cases throughout the UK and beyond and cover asylum, immigration, business immigration and EU law. Members regularly appear in the Court of Appeal, High Court and the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal, and have also appeared in the House of Lords. Many of these cases have been ground breaking cases. We have first class IT and conference facilities including a video conference suite at each of our current office locations, namely Birmingham, London and Bristol. This enables permission applications to be made directly to the Court of Appeal. Members travel nationwide to hearings and No5’s Office in London provides a convenient base when solicitors from outside London appear with members at the Royal Courts of Justice or the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal at Field House. We provide services in respect of both advocacy and advisory work and in relation to asylum, immigration, business immigration and EU law. We are heavily involved in the steering committee to provide a local court in Birmingham to hear public law hearings. Our clerks will readily assist you with getting matters listed at the Birmingham Administrative Court when convenience dictates it is better to do so then have the case heard in London.
