Kristina Brown Family

Kristina practices in Children Act and matrimonial cases, specialising in children work, which comprises both Public Law and Private Law spheres in the High Court and the County Court. She represents Local Authorities, parents and children, either acting through their CAFCASS Guardians or instructing their own solicitors. She has represented parents and children with serious pyschological difficulties or a history of self harming. Private work includes intractable contact cases involving the appointment of Rule 9.5 Guardians.

The areas of work in which Kristina practises includes all aspects of physical, emotional and sexual abuse and she has particular experience in work with very vulnerable adults, some of whom require the additional assistance of mental health or learning disability advocates.

Other aspects of her practice include presenting lectures and training seminars to solicitors and Local Authorities.
