Cases routinely involve very substantial assets, corporate assets, and cases raising complex issues relating to land and farming matters, and foreign property.

ii) the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996
iii) Applications under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989, relating to children of unmarried parents
iv) claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependents) Act 1975

Matters Relating to Children
Areas of expertise include:
i) all forms of Section 8 Children Act 1989 applications, including matters involving serious allegations of physical or sexual abuse, and requiring cross-examination of expert witnesses
ii) matters relating to children of mixed race parents, or involving a foreign element in residence and contact issues
iii) applications to remove a child permanently from the jurisdiction of England and Wales
iv) Child abduction and the operation of the Hague Convention, and international law generally
v) the requirement for “mirror orders” in countries where no international treaty is in force
vi) cases where psychiatric evidence relating either to parents or children is required
